A concert to commemorate the final months of the First World War.
Soldier's Songs of the Great War will be sung by Ludlow Male Voice Choir. Soldiers have always sung to keep up their spirits and those of the Great War were no exception. They sung popular songs of the day or adapted the words of hymns to reflect their situation.
Local musicians Ann Gray, Martin Thomas and Roger Champkin will perform songs from and relating to the period, some of them written by modern song-writer, reflecting on the meaning and the legacy of the war.
Tickets : £5 on door (tea and cake included).
