Ludlow History Festival

A bold new chapter in Ludlow's cultural story, the Ludlow History Festival immerses visitors in the town's past through a vibrant programme of theatre, music, comedy, storytelling, guided walks, lectures and hands-on activities.

From ancient geology and medieval origins to regal connections and remarkable characters spanning the Middle Ages to the Regency era, audiences experience history where it actually happened.

Events take place in venues across Ludlow including Ludlow Assembly Rooms, Ludlow Castle, St Laurence's Church, Ludlow Brewery, Castle Bookshop and Ludlow Library, with Ludlow Museum open every day of the festival.

Delivered in partnership with Ludlow Assembly Rooms, St Laurence's Church, Ludlow Library, Ludlow Brewery, Shropshire Museums' Service, Ludlow Civic Society, Mortimer History Society, Ludlow Chamber of Trade and Commerce, and Ludlow Town Council.
