Bensons of Ludlow is a family jewellers based in the heart Ludlow in the iconic Buttercross building.

The shop was established in 1978 by master goldsmith David Benson.  His vision was to fill his shop with beautiful, well made jewellery, watches and gifts - and ensure that each and every customer felt special and valued. 

Now under the helm of David’s daughter Amy and her husband Dave, Bensons of Ludlow continues to fulfil that vision and we are proud of the reputation we have established for quality and excellent service.

On our website and within our shop, we have a wide range of classic and contemporary jewellery, watches and giftware.  Our specialities include bold and unusual silver jewellery, interesting coloured gemstones, and diamond and wedding rings.  We are also proud to be one of the first shops in the country to carry a range of diamond rings and hand made jewellery using Fairtrade gold.

The upstairs of our shop is given over to a large well-equipped workshop where we are able to undertake all kinds of jewellery repairs and commissions, rethreading, engraving and valuations.  We also have our own range of jewellery, ‘Bensons Originals’ which are exclusive pieces in silver and gold designed and made by ourselves.
